Panning by Cindy Sanjaya

Hello readers, I am Cindy Sanjaya as Si Bolang Fotografi Asal Sunter!

This week I will teach about Panning which is one of photography technique.

I had tried this technique twice when I was in Junior High School and High School at photography extracurricular. So I want to tell you how do you take some photo in this technique. It is not hard technique but you have to be patient because you will be failed for so many times. Therefore, if you could take really good photos in this technique, you will proud of it and take more photos :)

So here tips and tricks about Panning :
  1. Set your location and what photos which will you want to take. If you had known what photos will you take, it will be easier.ex: if you want to take bicycle, you will stand up near by the pedestrian.
  2. Set your ISO, aperture, and also shutter speed depends on your situation and location. I think better to use low ISO, small aperture and normal shutter speed if you in outside. ex : you can set your ISO : 200; shutter speed 1/80; aperture ; f/5.6.
  3. See what photos you will make. If you had seen which photos you will make, set the target, hold your camera until your target go away from your camera.
  4. Press the button to capture the moment as soon as possible. If not, you won't catch the good moments after all.
These are some photos that I had taken during photography extracurricular especially in CFD nearby Bundaran HI :

Foto Pribadi (ISO 200, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/80)

Foto Pribadi (ISO 200, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/80)

Foto Pribadi (ISO 200, aperture f/5.6, shutter speed 1/100)
